Shipping Costs & Responsibility

The buyer is exclusively responsible for all shipping, packing, and insurance costs. These charges are separate from the listed price of the work and will be quoted and invoiced separately.

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

•        Delivery address (domestic or international).

•        Dimensions, weight, and fragility of the work.

•        Declared value of the piece for insurance purposes.

The total shipping invoice covers professional fine art packing, freight, delivery coordination, and full-value insurance coverage.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 3–5 business days following payment confirmation. All works require specialized packaging to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Processing time may vary for oversized canvases, sculptures, or works requiring custom crating.

Domestic Shipping – United States

•        Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days.

•        Express Shipping: 2–3 business days.

Shipping and handling costs vary by size, weight, and destination. As a reference, a standard work measuring approximately 22 × 30 inches carries a packaging and shipping fee in the range of $189–$249 USD within the continental United States. A flat-rate delivery option within the United States starts at $99.00 for smaller works, unless otherwise specified in the listing.

International Shipping

•        Estimated delivery time: 7–21 business days depending on destination country.

•        As a reference, a standard work measuring 22 × 30 inches ships to Europe for approximately $329 USD, depending on carrier and destination.

•        All customs duties, import taxes, and tariffs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

•        We work exclusively with carriers specialized in fine art and high-value objects.

Packaging

Every work is carefully packed using premium protective materials, including acid-free tissue, foam padding, rigid cardboard, and custom wooden crates where applicable. Our packaging standards are designed to preserve the physical and aesthetic integrity of each piece throughout transit, regardless of destination.

Shipping Insurance

All shipments include basic insurance coverage against loss or damage in transit. For high-value works, we strongly recommend purchasing additional coverage. Please contact us prior to shipment to coordinate enhanced insurance options. Coverage is calculated based on the declared value of the work.

Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. This allows you to monitor your shipment at every stage of transit. If you have not received a tracking notification within 5 business days of payment confirmation, please contact us directly.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. Include clear photographs of both the damage to the work and the condition of the packaging. Del Amo Art Gallery will manage the claim process with the carrier and insurance provider and work toward a prompt resolution. Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for coverage.

Additional Terms

•        Separate Shipments: Due to differences in work location and the delicate nature of certain pieces, multiple purchases may be shipped separately and invoiced individually.

•        Liability: While Del Amo Art Gallery facilitates the logistics process, we are not responsible for damage or loss that occurs once the work is in the possession of the shipping carrier.

•        No work will be released or shipped until all charges — including purchase price, applicable taxes, and shipping and handling fees — are paid in full.

•        International buyers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable customs regulations and import requirements in their country.
